2 HOUR INITIAL DESIGN CONSULTATION

Every Janele Stratton Designs Project starts with an Intial Design Consultation. This is a 2 hour working design session at your home or in your office and is an essential step in creating the ideal space for your needs. Whether this is the first of many meetings or a one-time meeting, Janele will meet you and spend time with you to see your space and develop an understanding of your style, your goals, and your challenges for your project.
Together we will determine a plan of action to get your project moving in the right direction with a full service design plan or with any of our other design packages.
Each consultation includes some or all of the following: depending on the individual needs of your project:
What to Expect

1. A walkthrough of your home to discuss each room's function, the existing furniture or appliances, and new recommendations.
2. Getting to know your needs through questions and answers.
3. Defining the budget.
4. Access your color preferences.
5. Up to 2 hours of intensive and custom ideas based on your home.
6. Recommended furniture layout.
7. Window Treatment ideas
8. Lighting ideas
9. Assessment and ideas on how to improve the value of your home.
10. Determine the scope of the work needed for the project.
11. We will take before photos and measurements if time allows.

*The investment for our initial Consultation service involves a flat fee, and your products, materials, finishes, furnishings and décor will be billed separately.
**All of our design packages are paid in advance. We accept credit card payments through stripe, bank cashiers check or electronic payment through Venmo**
